Fleur de Lis Chair

I already have an admitted obsession with sheet music. The new one is recovering anything I can get my hands on with canvas and putting a Fleur de Lis on it. Here is the chair I got for $5 at an auction.
I really liked the legs and the back on it. First, I took the cushion off. I have a HUGE drop cloth canvas I had bought for something but never used and I have used this for at least 4 other projects...it goes a long way! I stenciled the Fleur de Lis on it and used my handy staple gun to attach to the old cushion. I didn't even take off the old cover...so lazy. Then, I spray painted the chair black, reattached the cushion and I was done!

Chairs and footstools are my new go to project. They don't take too much time and you notice a huge difference!

Good eye for the sharp lines of that chair back. Very simple & elegant!
